Factoid of the day

For most Infocom games, the packaging and "feelies" were designed to complement the story. For Wishbringer, though, the packaging was conceptualized before the game. Brian Moriarty reasoned that a magic ring or a glowing stone would make a great "feelie" to include in a game box. His peers thought it was a great idea, too, so he began developing Wishbringer, a story about a glowing magical stone.

Why can't I get around the Snark?

The Snark and the Sea Cat are moving too fast?
Maybe you should move faster.
Try setting the throttle to medium.
Better yet, try setting the throttle to fast.

What should I do with the dart?

You could tranquilize the Snark.
Or maybe that isn't such a good idea.
If you tranquilize the Snark there won't be much to stop Dr. Thorpe from blasting you with his rocket.

What should I do with the bazooka?

You could try shooting the Snark.
But the Snark has tremendous scientific value, so it would be a waste to shoot it.
Another good reason not to shoot the Snark with the bazooka is that then Dr. Thorpe will have a clear shot at you!
So why not shoot the Sea Cat's Power Pod and disable it?
