1. Yes, but you're not normally fast enough.
2. Do you have any magic that might make you move faster?
3. The EXEX spell can make you fast enough.
4. The EXEX scroll is in the Dungeon area.

Can I get back from the Control Room safely?

1. Apparently not. Even if you have made yourself move quickly, you get hit by spears and the like.
2. Perhaps someone or something else in the game could survive those spears.
3. Turtles have pretty tough shells.
4. If you could get the turtle into the Control Room, he would probably survive the return trip. If you haven't seen the turtle, don't continue to the next clues.
