7. From the secret doorway at Rock Wall: GO INSIDE. OPEN THE JAR. TAKE THE CIRCLET. BLOW A BUBBLE. TURN THE MIRROR TO THE SOUTH.
8. Using a series of mirrors, you can reflect sunlight into any one of the Underground passageways.

Is there any way to stop the lucksuckers?

1. Read The Lore and Legends of Quendor.
2. HIT THE LUCKSUCKER with the best weapons you've got.
3. Lucksuckers aren't affected by ordinary weapons.
4. Good luck charms can forestall their attack.
5. Try showing one of your good luck charms to a lucksucker.
6. Throw a good luck charm at a lucksucker.

How do I deal with the lurking presences in the dark?

1. You can't see them to fight them without Magick.
2. Wearing the helmet will enable you to attack them normally.
3. The grues are the toughest monsters in the game. You need to be well prepared to fight them.
4. Protected plate mail and a honed elvish sword are the best weapons against the grues.

What is the shadow in the corner?

1. It is unwise to speak of such things.

5. Arrange some mirrors so that a beam of sunlight illuminates the Treasure Chamber. BLOW A BUBBLE in the Chamber. TURN THE MIRROR TO THE EAST.

I don't want to strangle baby grues! How do I survive the ur-grue's attack?

1. Uh-oh. Looks as if all your compassion was sucked away. Nobody with an ounce of compassion could strangle a baby... not even a baby grue.
2. You didn't accumulate enough compassion during the course of the story to survive the ur-grue's attack.
3. There are three ways to gain compassion.
4. Rescuing the minx. (Which you've probably already done.)
5. Releasing the unicorn also gains compassion.
6. The third way to gain compassion is to rescue the baby hungus by using the levitation wand.
