Factoid of the day

Infocom's first science fiction story, Starcross was heavily influenced by Dave Lebling's love of science fiction authors. The influence of Arthur C Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama is obvious, but some parts of the game were inspired by Larry Niven's Known Space stories.
